The models' general knowledge, identified
The models also draw on their general knowledge. An important statement without a reference is marked “assumption” or “to verify,” never dressed up with a false citation.

Two models with distinct roles
One model proposes and revises; a second, different model critiques. Every assessment keeps the models used, what was examined and what it cost in credits.

Software checks between each step
Format, references actually present, units, bounds, unknowns kept distinct from zero, recalculation of the estimate: everything is re-checked after the revision. These checks do not prove that an architecture is the right one.

Official rates and market references, with their source, currency, region and date. A public average does not prove the effort of a particular project.

The actually observed efforts you record produce findings to review, never a rule applied automatically to your estimates.
Published rates, the same for everyone
Reference hourly rates, estimation policy and catalogue are published by Linuen, dated and identical for every workspace. These rates convert hours into dollars for the assessment; a delivery mandate is negotiated separately, with Linuen or another partner.
How the ranges are calculated
Work is broken down into work packages, each with low, likely and high hours. The application multiplies by the published rate and adds the initial and recurring expenses over the chosen horizon: with equal parameters, the same result, to the cent. A figure suggested by a model remains distinguished from a vendor price or an observed effort.
Missing knowledge and assumptions
Every work package is costed and included in the totals: what is uncertain carries a wider range and the note “to confirm,” never a blank box — an empty line asserts zero, and that would be false. Every figure names the basis on which it is established and the question it depends on; the project states what share of the budget rests on assumptions to confirm, and the range of variation that depends on each answer. No rate, no citation and no source is fabricated to fill a table.
Updating references
Registered reference pages are re-read every lundi at 6 h: a detected change becomes a proposal, reviewed by a person before any publication. Every assessment keeps the version of the references it used.

- Real results: discrepancies between estimated and actual are reconciled, without claiming a calibration that has not been measured.
Publishing a reference recalculates no project, does not relaunch the AI and consumes no credit; a reassessment is offered to you, with its price, and you decide.
